Many of us are drawn to the ocean; we dream of beaches, breaking waves and the sights and sounds of the sea. But beyond these familiar images, the ocean’s true significance often remains out of view, and its vital role in sustaining life on Earth is still not widely understood.

At Voice of the Ocean, we are working to change that. From films to books, from computer games to journalism, our Ocean Literacy arm brings the ocean to life for audiences around the world, deepening understanding of how we shape the underwater world – and how it shapes us back.
